A diverse vineyard near the atmospheric lake Neusiedl

Based by the shores of Lake Neusiedl (Neusiedler See) in Burgenland which straddles the Austrian-Hungarian border, the Koppitsch wines all express a range of terroir across their 6 hectares which range from limestone, clay and sandy soil types. They showcase their terroir in their easy-drinking, fun set of wines ‘Koppitsch Goes Soil’ complete with colourful labels. These Koppitsch wines are designed to be accessible, not too serious and are called Homok, Touch, Ret, Juh and Rosza.

Koppitsch wines - excellent and approachable

The Koppitsch ‘Perspektive’ range of wines are more precise & structured examples of their winemaking capabilities and expressions of terroir. It’s refreshing to see winemakers like Alexander & Maria Koppitsch make both easy-drinking, fun wines as well as wines that showcase a strong sense of place, and excellent winemaking skills.
