This orange wine is made with \u003ca href=\"\/en-be\/collections\/auxerrois\"\u003eAuxerrois\u003c\/a\u003e, \u003ca href=\"\/en-be\/collections\/pinot-blanc\"\u003ePinot Blanc\u003c\/a\u003e, \u003ca href=\"\/en-be\/collections\/gewurztraminer\"\u003eGewürztraminer\u003c\/a\u003e, \u003ca href=\"\/en-be\/collections\/grenache-gris\"\u003eGrenache Gris\u003c\/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"\/en-be\/collections\/ugni-blanc\"\u003eUgni Blanc \u003c\/a\u003e grapes. Vivanterre was a US project founded by Rosie and Max Assoulin, with the support of sommelier Cedric Nicaise. To our knowledge, the project does not exist anymore.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis delicious wine is \u003cstrong\u003earomatic\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003etangy and structured\u003c\/strong\u003e, more so than other orange they make “G\u0026amp;M” so expect some nice \u003cstrong\u003esandy tannic grip\u003c\/strong\u003e and bold, aromatic flavour profile which would work great at the dinner table with food. It’s more serious than it looks and being a 2022 is now quite a rare find these days..\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExpect notes of \u003cstrong\u003epapaya, honey, apricot, nuts, mint, vanilla. \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWinemaking process of Vivanterre Orange 2022 by Patrick Bouju and Justine Loiseau\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc and Gewurztraminer grapes are sourced from Alsace, the Auxerrois and Pinot Blanc from Rosenwiller from an organic and biodynamic vineyard with clay- limestone soil and 50 year old vines, and the Gewurztraminer come from Heilignestein from 35 year old vines.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Auxerrois and Pinot Blanc were co-fermented and aged in Foudre.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Gewurztraminer was fermented separately, and aged in both stainless tanks and Amphora.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThen all three varietals were macerated on their skins for 3 weeks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Grenache Gris and Ugni Blanc are from the South of France near the town of Pinet, and were co-fermented and aged in fiberglass tanks and on the skins for 2 weeks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere was no fining, filtering, or SO2 added during any phase of winemaking.
