P.N 2024

P.N 2024 is a natural wine crafted by La Sorga, in the Languedoc region in France. This red wine is made with Pinot Noir grapes from young vines.

Grown on pudding-stone (poudingue) soils in Castelreng, in the high Limoux valley, this Pinot Noir benefits from real altitude and cooler conditions that give a freshness you don't often find this far south.

The grapes are hand destemmed and macerated for 41 days, then aged on lees for 9 months in a sandstone Tava jar, with no added sulphites.

Winemaker tasting notes describe a nose of raspberry, crushed strawberry and fern, with a smoky mineral edge. The palate is described as powdery and red-fruit driven, includuding redcurrant with a touch of blood orange, and is ment to be extremely drinkable, also at 11% weight.
