This white wine is made with \u003ca href=\"\/en-dk\/collections\/riesling\"\u003eRiesling\u003c\/a\u003e and some Chardonnay grapes from the Tolone block.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eAbout the Tolone Block at Nikau Farm\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTolone is the second small block at Nikau Farm, planted mainly with Riesling and some Chardonnay interplanted, with vines of around 31 years old. Give it a breather to find itself and this will really evolve into a true banger and quite special indeed. Its not problematic at first, just the first ship is a bit shy but then... oh boy!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt first you'll be greeted by a herbal nose of freshly cut mint and mild eucalyptus, and some wet grass. This is followed by buttercups and soft baked pear, with brusied apples which follows onto the palate. What is quite cool about this wine, is the fight between Riesling and Chardonnay, and it leaves you guessing how much of each is in there, as there is also a Petrolium kick that joins the party with a bit of air too!
