Rose Supernova

Rosé Supernova is a natural wine crafted by Schödl, in the Weinviertel region in Austria. This rose wine is made with Pinot Noir and St.Laurent grapes.

Production details of Rose Supernova: Rose Supernova is made by Viktoria, Mathias and Leonhard Schödl at their family winery in the Weinviertel region of Austria. The wine is a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Sankt Laurent grown on chalky loess. The grapes are hand-harvested and macerate for a few hours before pressing, then co-ferment in 500-litre neutral barrels and age on the lees for 8 months. Bottled with just 10 mg/l of sulphur.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Rose Supernova by Schödl, but we hear it has notes of watermelon, lime zest, raspberry, white pepper and a silky texture.
