Tragolargo Tinto 2022

Tragolargo Tinto is a natural wine crafted by Vinessens, in the Valencia region in Spain. This red wine is made with Monastrell grapes, and is exceptional value!!

Tragolargo Tinto feels a bit like a Spanish Puszta Libre (Claus Preisinger). It's super smooth, just a hint of tannin but very very drinkable and with lots of fruit up front.

Production details of Tragolargo Tinto: Tragolargo Tinto is made by Casa Balaguer Vinessens in the Valencia region of Spain. The wine is 100% Monastrell from the Villena vineyard, farmed on sandy soils with bush-trained vines at around 700m elevation. Wild ferment with 30% of stalks included for freshness. Ages a few months in steel. 13% alcohol. Compared to a Spanish Puszta Libre in style.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Tragolargo Tinto by Vinessens, but we hear it has notes of cherry, blackberry leaf, dried herb and a rustic Mediterranean lift.
