Ex Vero I is taken from the lower slopes, Ex Vero II from the middle vineyards and Ex Vero III from the uppermost, featuring rougher and more rocky Opok soils.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eEx Vero I\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eharvested in 2022 presents a higher proportion of Morillon compared to Sauvignon Blanc. The\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eEx Vero I\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003egrapes grow about 300m above the sea level on Opok soil, a fine-grained, calcareous marl and silt typically found in the steep Styrian vineyards. The result of the selected grapes from the heavier and more fertile soil on the lower slopes is a beautifully bright and clear white blend with unripe stone fruit notes and a nice herbal touch!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhilst we haven't tried the 2022 vintage of\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eEx Vero I \u003c\/strong\u003eyet, we hear it presents\u003cspan\u003e \u003cb\u003eclear tea and citrus\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003enotes; you will find a\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eumami acidity\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eand\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003esaltiness\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eat the palate.
