They work three hectares of picturesque old vineyards planted on limestone in the highest hills of Valsamoggia, up to 500 metres above sea level. The blend is 40% Barbera, 20% Sangiovese, 10% Negrettino, 20% Lambrusco Grasparossa and 10% Lambrusco Maestri. All grapes are harvested, fermented and aged together as a field blend in small qvevri amphorae and cement tanks.
