The blend is red Grenache, Peluda Grenache, white Grenache and Carignan, all co-planted in a single one-hectare vineyard called 'Dellà del Riu' planted in 1945, surrounded by apple, almond and olive trees. The wine is a tribute to the family and town's ancestors who shed blood in these vineyards during clashes with Franco's troops. Grapes from the plot are harvested together and co-ferment whole, trampled by feet.
