We were able to receive just 12 bottles of this rare and special wine. It captures the vibrancy of a single plot, cultivated on skeletal limestone and \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003emagical quartz stone in its most direct reflection. From the same gnarled old Syrah-v\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003eines in the top-site Eisner than our long established red Felsen II, the intense rosé c\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003eolour comes from the pure free run juice of fully ripe grapes that would equally have been perfect for deep red wine.\u003c\/em\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003cem\u003eIn 2024 though, the perfume-like intensity of the grape-juice right after harvest \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003econvincingly seduced us to follow our long cherished idea of showing the \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003egrandezza of great terroir in its purest and most direct form: premier jus of Syrah - \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ecut free from the textural amplification and added layers that would come with \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003emaceration - gives space to showcase an aromatic precision and barrenness that \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003eequals the character of the incredibly mineral soil it grows on.
