This white wine is made with \u003ca href=\"\/en-pl\/collections\/gruner-veltliner\"\u003eGrüner Veltliner\u003c\/a\u003e grapes, and is aged 4 years in the barrel after harvest, and now for a further 5 in the bottle. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis Grüner Veltliner is taken from 40+ year old vines grown on limestone and quartz, and the barrel was not topped up during this time. Under 600litres produced.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe suggest to give this special, aged wine a 45-60 minute carafe to express itself fully. \u003cstrong\u003eWe adored the herbacious notes amongst flavours of poached pears, nettle, nuts, apples, caramel and mineralic bursts.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWinemaker's Note\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExtended aging for 4 years in a 600 L barrel. A discovery journey to see what happens to highly mineralic grape juice, if kept in wood for an extended period of time.
