This white wine is made with \u003ca href=\"\/en-pl\/collections\/gewurztraminer\"\u003eGewürztraminer\u003c\/a\u003e grapes, and it does not have a HUGE amount of skin-contact, drinking more like a white with a TINY bit of maceration, which we feel makes this quite special as often the grape is made with a proper amount of skin-contact, so its rare to try it dry as a white wine (in the natural wine world).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEmmeram by Gut Oggau is a fine, fragrant Gewürztraminer, with berries that come from a plant that is about 40 years old. Before pressing, the grapes are macerated on their skins for only a few hours, as any longer and Emmeram would become too clumsy and lose its finesse and humour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe wine is fermented spontaneously in used 500 litre barrels and after one year of maturation without batonnage and additional sulphur, it is bottled unvarnished and unfiltered.
