Sven is based in Baden but also sources grapes from the Mosel. This Lemberger (the German word for Blaufränkisch) comes from Keuper soils, marl-and-limestone ground found near Heilbronn that gives wines a spicy herbal freshness. 100% whole-cluster ferment in 800-litre boxes mashed by foot, then 15 months in oak.
