Sauvage 2021 is a natural wine crafted by Clos Bateau, in the Beaujolais region in France.

This red wine is made with Gamay grapes as are 98% of all wines made in Beaujolais.... however this Sauvage is taken from WILD VINES, of an abandoned vineyard of low-yielding grapes from one parcel in a Lantignié lieu-dit called Monthieux. The soils of comprimised of clay, quartz and decomposed pink granite.
