This wine is made with \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/jacquere\"\u003eJacquère\u003c\/a\u003e, \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/altesse\"\u003eAltesse\u003c\/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/roussanne\"\u003eRoussanne\u003c\/a\u003e grapes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCôtillon des Dames is one of Jean-Yves' signature skin-contact whites, a blend of Jacquère, Altesse and Roussanne from two very different plots: one in Albertville on mica-schist soils, the other in Fréterive on limestone scree.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe whole bunches are usually macerated on the skins for up to two months, with regular pigeage, and the wine is then aged for a year in 300L barrels. Native yeasts and no added sulphites. The 2024 comes in at 10% alcohol.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis shows real texture and structure, with angular tannins that open up into soft, bruised fruit and a rounded finish. A wine to take your time with, and a great example of what makes Savoie orange wine so exciting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis wine is a ‘fast drinker’ and needs to be drunk quick.
