BF Schieferberg

BF Schieferberg by Joiseph is a natural wine made in Burgenland with Blaufränkisch grapes, taken from a premium plot called Schieferberg.

Production details of BF Schieferberg: BF Schieferberg is a single-vineyard Blaufränkisch from Joiseph, the project of Luka Zeichmann, Richard Artner and Alex Kagl in Jois, Burgenland. The Schieferberg plot is one of their two single-vineyard sites alongside Tannenberg, both within the Leithaberg AOC.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of BF Schieferberg by Joiseph, but we hear it has notes of red fruit, dark anise, cacao, dried spice and a brooding finish.
