Buteo 2020 by MG vom Sol is a natural wine made in Weinviertel with Grüner Veltliner grapes.

Production details of Buteo: Buteo is a Grüner Veltliner from Michael Gindl at MG vom Sol in Hohenruppersdorf, eastern Weinviertel, Austria. The wine is named after the buzzards that circle over his vineyards. Michael ages the wine in barrels made from wood sourced from his own forest. The Gindl family has farmed this polycultural land since 1807. Michael works using a lunar-calendar approach with help from his sheep, horses and Bessi the cow.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Buteo by MG vom Sol, but we hear it has notes of dusty sweet apple, nutty depth, marzipan and a long lively finish.
