Blfrnksch

Blfrnksch is a natural wine crafted by Rennersistas, in the Burgenland region in Austria. This red wine is made with Blaufränkisch grapes.

Production details of Blfrnksch: Blfrnksch is 100% Blaufränkisch from Stefanie and Georg Renner at Rennersistas in Gols, Burgenland. The family has worked here since 1988 across 12 hectares of vineyards farmed using a lunar-calendar approach. The grapes are destemmed, ferment in stainless steel, then mature in oak barrels on the lees.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Blfrnksch by Rennersistas, but we hear it has notes of blackberry, clove, floral spice, tobacco and a fine mineral lift.
