Christian Tschida is a cult-favorite natural winemaker from Austria’s Burgenland region.
A bit of a perfectionist and known for keeping a low profile, he prefers to let his wines do the talking—and they’ve earned him a devoted following worldwide. His vineyards, mostly tended with the help of a horse, are as stunning as they are full of life. Some of his standout bottles include the Himmel auf Erden range, Non-Tradition, Kapitel l, and his iconic Tschida Brutal Wine—a Pinot Noir with a wild, forest-like depth that reminds us of a great Burgundy.
