Sepp & Maria Muster make beautiful natural wine in their region of Styria, Austria. Their wines are full of grace, expression and a real sense of place, we love them!

This is their premium Sauvignon, with the average age of these vineyards being older than that of 'Sauvignon vom Opok', and the wine is aged for almost two years in small barriques.

PREVIOUS VINTAGE This Graf Sauvignon 2020 is one of our favourites. Aged for two years in barrel and bursting with an elegant presence and power from its Opok soils, this wine will drink great with a carafe and age very well too!

Tasting wine, the PREVIOUS VINTAGE Graf Sauvignon 2020 has big energy! Flinty, smokey, citrussy, and fresshhhhh! Slight herbaceous elements (like tarragon?) creep in on the side. Decanting and a big glass recommended. Amazing wine!

NATURAL WINES BY SEPP & MARIA MUSTER

Sepp and Maria Muster farm in southern Styria and are one of the five members of Schmecke das Leben, 'taste life', a group of Styrian natural winemakers who share the same approach to nature. Their vom Opok wines are named after the local marl soil, while Erde, Gräfin and Graf Morillon are more serious wines that age for years.
