Neuburger 2021

Neuburger 2021 is a natural wine crafted by Joiseph, in the Burgenland region in Austria. This lightly macerated orange wine is made with Neuburger grapes.

Production details of Neuburger: Neuburger is a lightly macerated orange wine from Joiseph in the village of Jois, Burgenland, Austria. The estate is run by viticulturist Richard Artner, Alex Kagl and winemaker Luka Zeichmann across 5.5 hectares on the Leitha mountain with a view over Lake Neusiedl. They started in 2015 with three pairs of vine shears, rubber boots and the goal of making authentic wines in harmony with nature.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Neuburger by Joiseph, but we hear it has notes of yellow grapefruit, lime, pineapple and a fine saline minerality.
