Rkatsiteli 2019 by Tsikhelishvili Wines is a natural wine made in Kakheti with Rkatsiteli grapes, which are aged for 7 months on skin in Georgian Qvevri.

Production details of Rkatsiteli: Rkatsiteli is made by Aleksi Tsikhelishvili in Akhmeta, Kakheti (eastern Georgia). Aleksi was one of the earliest members of the Georgian Natural Wine Association. He cultivates the vines without sprays or artificial fertilisers and produces around 1000 bottles annually across his cuvées. The Rkatsiteli is aged for 7 months on its skins in qvevri.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Rkatsiteli by Tsikhelishvili Wines, but we hear it has notes of candied orange zest, quince jelly, chalky herbal spice, ripe kiwi and a nutty finish.
