Weiss & Grau 2023

Enderle & Moll were a duo based in Baden, Germany. One of the two has since parted ways but the domain remains. They are respected for their Pinot Noirs, at both budget and more premium pricepoints.

The Weiss & Grau 2023 wine from Enderle and Moll is called as such, as it is made from Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) and Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris).

Production details of Weiss & Grau: Weiss & Grau is from Enderle & Moll, a small natural wine project in Baden, Germany. The pair started together as friends in a tiny cellar with a few hectares of old vines, though one has since parted ways. The blend is 60% Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) and 40% Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris), briefly aged on the skins for 4 days, then 10 months on the lees in steel. No pesticides or insecticides in the vineyards.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Weiss & Grau by Enderle & Moll, but we hear it has notes of orange zest, white blossom, apricot skin, honeysuckle and a smooth mineral streak.
