Naturbursch

Naturbursch is a budget natural wine crafted by Hareter, in the Burgenland region in Austria. This white wine is made with Weißburgunder and Sauvignon Blanc grapes.

Production details of Naturbursch: Naturbursch is Hareter's affordable natural wine from Weiden am See in Burgenland, Austria. The blend uses Weissburgunder, Sauvignon Blanc and Welschriesling. Grapes are hand-harvested, pressed uncrushed with stems, and ferment wild. The wine spends 5 months on the fine lees and matures in stainless steel tanks. Thomas and Claudia have farmed without synthetic chemistry since 2009.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Naturbursch by Hareter, but we hear it has notes of pear, ginger sorbet, linden blossom, lemongrass and a fresh herbal lift.
