Pet Nat Purellus Pinot Noir Rose 2022

Rita & Rudolf Trossen are hugely respected German winemakers practicing chemical-free & holistic techniques, whilst also offering a range of natural wines that make Riesling fans go wild! 

However... this is his Pinot Noir Purellus Rose Pet Nat, of which Rudolf states:

"We farm two small Pinot Noir vineyards: one on the Moselle with sandy loam, and one higher up with slate soil. This time we made a fine fruity, creamy Rosé PetNat from the grapes. In this process, the still fermenting young wine is bottled at the right time away from the yeast. The sparkling wine is unfiltered and accordingly cloudy, but you can remedy this and disgorge yourself if you prefer the clear wine. The wine still runs youthfully viscous from the bottle, but one should quickly fill the glasses, because the storm of youth makes the pearls foam up quickly and the bottle overflow. Therefore, serve well chilled!"
