Unrouge 2022

Unrouge 2022 is a natural wine crafted by Bossanova, in the Abruzzo region in Italy. This 13.5% red wine is made with 80% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and 20% Merlot grapes, which spends 10 months in cement tanks

Production details of Unrouge: Unrouge comes from Bossanova, a young winery in the Teramo hills of Abruzzo run by Andrea and Nat since 2018. The blend is 80% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and 20% Merlot from 20-year-old vines. The wine spends 10 months in cement tanks. No added sulphur during fermentation.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Unrouge by Bossanova, but we hear it has notes of bright red fruit, soft spice, juicy summer berries and delicate tannins.
