Giandon Bianco

Giandon Bianco is a natural wine crafted by Il Farneto, in the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy.

This light orange wine is made with Malvasia grapes, so expect herbal touches and some bitter twang from the mild skin contact maceration of this aromatic grape, which is 12% alcohol so ideal for drinking with or without food.

Production Details: Giandon Bianco is a white wine from Il Farneto in Emilia-Romagna made from local white grape varieties. The fruit ferments with native yeasts in stainless steel. The winemaking is minimal intervention, preserving freshness and the natural character of the grapes. The wine ages briefly before release.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Giandon Bianco by Il Farneto, but we hear it has notes of green apple, citrus, white flowers, herbs, and a clean, dry finish.
