Stockkultur 2025 MAGNUM is a natural wine crafted by Christian Tschida, in the Burgenland region in Austria. This EXCEPTIONAL red wine is made with Pinot Noir grapes, which are forced to grow in a vine planting system known as Stocklultur. This method involces each vine planted next to a single stake, and grown close together, increasing the root competition and forcing the vines to go deeper into the ground to source nutrients, often resulting in a higher quality wine.

Here.. it does just that! WOW, what a Pinot Noir. Perhaps the finest we have ever had in Austria? We loved it from the get go... but it only gets better with air and your first and last sip of the first glass will for sure evolve beautifully.

We enjoyed notes of dark cherry, Tonka bean, forest floor, dark chocolate and a rocky, mineralic aspect too. On the nose, there are whisper of light smoke too. It's very sensual, romantic and almost whimsical and velvety with a delicate touch.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.

NATURAL WINES BY CHRISTIAN TSCHIDA

Christian Tschida is a cult-favorite natural winemaker from Austria’s Burgenland region.
A bit of a perfectionist and known for keeping a low profile, he prefers to let his wines do the talking—and they’ve earned him a devoted following worldwide. His vineyards, mostly tended with the help of a horse, are as stunning as they are full of life. Some of his standout bottles include the Himmel auf Erden range, Non-Tradition, Kapitel l, and his iconic Tschida Brutal Wine—a Pinot Noir with a wild, forest-like depth that reminds us of a great Burgundy. Whether it’s Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, or Blaufränkisch, his wines are something special, which is why you’ll find them in some of the best restaurants around the world.
