Chardonnay Assemblage 2022

Domaine Overnoy 'Chardonnay Assemblage' is an elegant white wine from the southern region of Jura, called the Sud Revermont.

This wine is very big and fat, at 14.5%. It's beautifully rounded and creamy, a real nice sipper for sure with notes of chamomile, lemon balm and a typical jura tension despite its weight.

The Chardonnay grapes here are taken from the plots Clos De Jerminy with famous Blue Marl soils as well as the Charmille plots. This wine is aged for 3 years in 600l Demi Muids before release.

A nephew to Pierre Overnoy, Guillaume Overnoy currently runs this 5.5-acre domain in the Jura which has been handed to him by his father, Jean-Louis Overnoy. The region this domain farms in is called Beaufort-Orbagna.
