NATURAL WINES BY SVEN ENDERLE
Sven Enderle is the Enderle of the original Enderle & Moll, now running his own solo project after years consulting for wineries abroad. He left Enderle & Moll in 2019, and 2022 is his first vintage under his own name. He buys grapes from partner growers in Baden and the Mosel: Pinot Noir from limestone sites across Baden, Lemberger from Keuper soils near Heilbronn and Müller-Thurgau from a 50 year old parcel on Mosel slate.
Everything is done by hand with whole bunches, and a small amount of sulphur goes in before bottling. The Müller-Thurgau gets up to ten days on its skins. All the wines age on their full lees in barrels from 225 to 600 litres, the Pinot Noir Keuper for 15 months, and only 1,050 bottles of it were made in 2022. Our favourites are his premium Pinot Noirs.
