Marie Boudin

A former Sommerlier in Paris, in 2016 Marie Boudin met Raphaël Monnier and joined Domaine Ratapoil, an experience that became central to her development as a grower and winemaker. They also worked together on Avis de Tempête, a small merchant project created partly in response to the increasingly unpredictable harvests affecting the Jura.

Marie made her first independent vintage in 2019. Her own domaine began with 1.2 hectares around Arbois, including Chardonnay and mixed plantings of Poulsard and Savagnin. The north-facing parcels sit on soils combining marl, limestone, clay and sand. Vineyard work is manual, with horses used to cultivate the soil.
