Production details of Mansano: Mansano is made by Giulio Armani at Denavolo, his personal natural wine project in the Piacenza Hills of Emilia-Romagna. The wine is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from 30+ year-old vines (planted 1989) on clay-calcareous soils at 350m elevation. Wild ferment with 3 months of skin contact in stainless steel. Bottled with no added sulphur.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Mansano by Denavolo, but we hear it has notes of tropical fruit, dried fruit, white flower and a fine saline texture.
