Denavolo 'Dinavolino' 2023 is a delicious white Italian wine, with less skin-contact and depth than Catavela and less intensity than 'Dinavolo'. Mildly grippy and enjoyable tannins with an aromatic twang that will pleasantly linger in the best way. Very nice indeed!

The natural wine Dinavolino 2023 from producer Denavolo features a blend of approximately 25% Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, 25% Ortrugo, 25% Marsanne, and 25% mixed local white varieties, including small amounts of Trebbiano, Santa Maria, and Sauvignon Blanc, depending on the parcel.

It undergoes about six months of skin contact in stainless-steel inert tanks. The total time spent in the vessel is roughly 12 months, including the six months of maceration on the skins, followed by approximately six months of further aging in the tank.

Tasting Notes for Dinavolino 2023 by Denavolo

Expect an attractive orange color with a nose of chamomile, dried apricot, candied orange peel, and mixed herbs. The palate is firm and saline, featuring fine-grained tannins and a long, tangy citrus finish with subtle hints of black tea and a touch of curry-like spice and even mild sage creating an elegant and lively natural wine experience.
