Blanc de Assemblage Magnum is a natural wine crafted by Chavost Champagne, in the Champagne region in France. This large format 1500ml MAGNUM of sparkling wine is made with 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Meunier grapes.
This is a no added sulphites Champagne
Tasty and very fresh, which evolves with the glass quite a bit, so we suggest to pour in standard wine glasses (always better than flutes, with any sparkling wine!) and wait a few minutes before enjoying to get a little more complexity, with notes of marzipan coming through. The resting time also allows the energetic bubbles to relax a little.
About Champagne Chavost
The Chavost estate was created in 1946 by the will of the owners elders, winegrowers of Chavot-Courcourt.
Chavost is the ancestral name of the village, which formerly was located between the Saint-Martin Church and the Mount Felix hill, upon which a castle was established.
The estate works with a vineyard of 5 hectares of vines which is certified chemical-free since the harvest 2023
The domain does not work with added sulphites and has a strong following around the world for living Champagne, at a great pricepoint too
