Cremant de Pinot 2023

Cremant de Pinot 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Lukas Krauss, in the Pfalz region in Germany. This sparkling wine is made with Pinot Noir grapes, made as a Blanc de Noir. He calls it a Cremant, but it is a German Sekt. Maybe as better than most Sekt he upgraded to Cremant? ;)

Very cool, super fresh but ALSO a little smokey which gives it a nice touch not often found together. WE also enjoyed whispers of apple tarte tartin and a mild vanilla custard touch amongst wet pebble stoney aspects keeping it crisp on the finish
