Tasting Notes for Sven Enderle’s Pinot Noir Kalk 2022

Expect notes of vivid wild forest-strawberry fruit, herbal undertones, and a compact core of energetic red berries. The palate is complex and long, opening with juicy, expressive Pinot fruit supported by fine, nervy acidity and very silky tannins.

NATURAL WINES BY SVEN ENDERLE

Sven Enderle is the Enderle of the original Enderle & Moll, now running his own solo project after years consulting for wineries abroad. He buys grapes from Baden and the Mosel: Pinot Noir from limestone sites across Baden, Lemberger from Keuper soils near Heilbronn and Müller-Thurgau from a 50 year old parcel on Mosel slate. Everything is done by hand with whole bunches, and a small amount of sulphur goes in before bottling. Our favourite are his premium Pinot Noirs
