Dinavolino 2022 Magnum

Dinavolino 2022 Magnum is a natural wine crafted by Denavolo, in the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy. This orange wine is made with Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Marsanne, Ortrugo  plus small amounts of other grapes to build up the last 25% of the blend.

Production Process of Dinavolino 2022 from Denavolo

The natural wine Dinavolino 2022 from producer Denavolo features a blend of approximately 25% Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, 25% Ortrugo, 25% Marsanne, and 25% mixed local white varieties, including small amounts of Trebbiano, Santa Maria, and Sauvignon Blanc, depending on the parcel.

It undergoes about six months of skin contact in stainless-steel inert tanks. The total time spent in the vessel is roughly 12 months, including the six months of maceration on the skins, followed by approximately six months of further aging in the tank.

Tasting Notes for Dinavolino 2022 Magnum by Denavolo

Expect an attractive orange color with a nose of chamomile, dried apricot, candied orange peel, and mixed herbs. The palate is firm and saline, featuring fine-grained tannins and a long, tangy citrus finish with subtle hints of black tea and a touch of curry-like spice and even mild sage creating an elegant and lively natural wine experience. 

This wine is less powerful than Dinavolo and more powerful than Catavela, as a reference point
