Brutal Rosé Pet Nat 2025 is a natural wine crafted by La Sorga, in the Languedoc region in France. This VERY light 8.5% sparkling wine is made with Pinot Noir grapes, with just 600 bottles produced!

We found it to have a beautiful drinkability, with a raspberry nose mingling amongst some yeasty touches. Super refreshing and at this low alcohol would be ideal for brunches or light salad pairings.

Who is Anthony Tortul and La Sorga?

Antony Tortul's La Sorga winery is one of the most cult operations in the Languedoc.

He started out buying grapes from local organic growers he trusted and has been doing it long enough that he now has some of his own vines too.

For those unaware, he was one of the original founders of the Brutal!!! label, alongside Escoda Sanahuja, Mendall and Rémi Poujol… in fact he was the one who designed the iconic label himself the very same night the whole thing came together, and that was after more than a whole night's drinking!

La Sorga wines are raw, energetic and completely their own thing - no added sulphites and full of expression.

Brutal Wines | What is a Brutal Wine?

Brutal Wines have no-added sulphur  & contrary to popular belief, are NOT meant to be benefitting from some sort of technical 'fault', however, this is not uncommon. WATCH OUR VIDEO INTERVIEW with one of the founders, Joan Ramon of Escoda-Sanahuja here.

Brutal Wines are seen as experimental, rare and the label is (meant to be) only passed down from respected Brutal winemakers to another. They are a highly-sought after, rare, cult style of the natural wine scene. Original rules state only one barrel should be made... although we wonder how much this rule is followed these days...
