Expect green apples with fresh cut white flowers and elegant and complex minerality, toasted almonds and citrus peel
Giulia is a vintage sparkling wine whose aim is to highlight a specific year.
2018 was a relatively warm vintage in Karlti and Imereti, which allowed the grapes to ripen faster. The result was a harvest in early October with great ripeness and beautiful acidity.
Only the finest juice from the selected grapes are used for this cuvée. Fermentation takes place partly in old French oak barrels and partly in traditional Georgian qvevri, using only wild yeasts. The wine is made with minimal intervention — unfined and unfiltered — allowing the pure expression of the grapes and terroir to shine through.
After tirage in May 2019, the wine aged on its lees for 55 months, developing remarkable depth, texture and complexity before being disgorged in December 2023. Bottled as Brut Nature, the wine shows precision, structure and a refined, mineral-driven character.
Giulia remains on the lees for at least 42 months to maintain richness, complexity and style.
