FRANZ PLAYS ORANGE (Szürke és Fehér) 2024

Szürke és Fehér 2024 is a natural wine crafted by Franz Weninger, in the Burgenland region in Austria AND the surrounding vineyards in Hungary.

This orange wine is made with Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir grapes (we presume the last as a direct press).

We have yet to try it, but hear its nicely fruity with a herbal, tangy kick! A funny story about this wine is that Franz Weninger intended to grow Pinot Noir... later discovered that he had unknowingly planted Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc instead!
