SlovWines was born out of a shared passion for authenticity, nature, and the raw power of honest winemaking from friends Marko Grušovnik and Matija Žerjav (of Matic wines, which we also offer)
Inspired by the rolling hills and ancient soils of Slovenia’s Štajerska region, the two winemakers set out to create wines that go beyond taste - wines that feel alive, tell a story, and carry the wild soul of the place they come from.
The two are childhood friends - and even their grandfathers were friends before them! We love their budget friendly orange wines like M Muscat or R Welschriesling - both sensational value and mega vibrant!
