Lemberger 2022

Lemberger 2022 is a natural wine crafted by Sven Enderle, who is based in the Baden region in Germany but also sources some grapes from the Mosel.

Sven Enderle used to be one half of Enderle and Moll, before they decided to part ways. This red wine is made with Blaufränkisch grapes, aka Lemberger.

Production details of Lemberger: Lemberger is made by Sven Enderle in Baden, Germany. Sven works with négoce grapes sourced from Baden as well as the Mosel after parting ways with Enderle & Moll. The Lemberger (Blaufränkisch) comes from one of his principal grower families outside Heilbronn. 100% whole-cluster ferment in 800-litre boxes mashed by foot, then 15 months in oak. 12% alcohol. Minimal sulphur at bottling.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Lemberger by Sven Enderle, but we hear it has notes of deep blue fruit, plum, light spice and a silky polished texture.
