Indigo 2023 is a red natural wine crafted by Domaine Houillon, in the Rhône region in France.  Blends on this cuvee can change, and this vintage is made with 100% Syrah 

Tasting Notes for Domaine Houillon Indigo 2023

Whilst we have not yet tried this exact vintage of Indigo 2023, we hear it has notes of vibrant red berries, subtle floral hints, and a touch of earthy minerality on the nose. The palate is said to be fresh and lively, with flavors of ripe cherry, wild herbs, and a gentle spiciness, supported by a bright acidity and a smooth, balanced finish.

About Domaine Houillon in Rhone

Aurélien Houillon, a native of Jura and another talented relative of Emmanuel Houillon of Maison Pierre Overnoy in Jura has also worked at the estate in addition to other places before settling down in Rhone to work alongside his partner Charlotte. The wines are zero-zero, as expected from the rest of the family legends, and offer a big energy and depth. They farm 2.5 hectares of vines in Faucon, in the Vaucluse, on a total property (and accommodation facilities) of 9 hectares. They farm their vines exclusively by horse too!
