rød Rosé N. 35

Lys-rød Rosé N. 35 by Franz Strohmeier is a special wine made from Blauer Wildbacher, a black grape rare to be found but perfect for Rosé thanks to its mineral touch, typical from the Styrian region of Austria. The name Lys-rod comes from Danish and means 'light red'.

Whilst we haven't tried this vintage of Lys-Rod yet, we hear it presents a delicate rose and red currant nose. At the palate reveals delicate aromas, a little fruitiness and pleasant acidity

Christine & Franz Strohmeier, together with Styrian wine producers Taus, Tscheppe, Muster and Werlitsch, belong to the ‘Schmecke das Leben’ (‘Taste life’) group.
