Tlz Gelb Nr. 9 Chardonnay

Tlz Gelb Nr. 9 by Strohmeier is a natural wine made in Styria with 100% Chardonnay grapes. 

Christine & Franz Strohmeier are masters of making natural wine, and their wines from the Styria region of Austria really are both exceptional and worth the pricetag. Expressive, elegant and full of their own touches, Strohmeier wines continue to wow us every time.

We have not yet tried this vintage, but previous editions have really wowed us, despite the higher price tag. We hear it presents a beautiful bright yellow colour. Mineral and fresh, you'll discover yellow fruit, honey and little spicy aromas.

Christine & Franz Strohmeier, together with Styrian wine producers Taus, Tscheppe, Muster and Werlitsch, belong to the ‘Schmecke das Leben’ (‘Taste life’) group. 
Their philosophy is about protecting the land, and making authentic and expressive natural wines that stay honest to their roots. It’s an invitation to slow down, share a glass, and truly enjoy the moment!
