Rosè 2021

Rosè 2021 is a natural wine crafted by Vino del Poggio, in the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy. This Rose wine is made with Barbera grapes, and features a strong Volatile approach, so be sure you like this before buying.

Production details of Rosè: Rosè 2021 comes from Vino del Poggio in Travo, in the Val Trebbia hills of Emilia-Romagna, run by Andrea Cervini. The Barbera grapes grow on clay and calcareous soils at 200m elevation. The wine ferments and macerates in closed steel containers for up to 6 months for full fruit extraction, with no added sulphur.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Rosè by Vino del Poggio, but we hear it has notes of red fruit, blood orange marmalade, fresh acidity and a touch of residual sweetness.
