Gargantua 2024 is a natural wine crafted by Anthony Tortul of La Sorga, in the Languedoc region in France. This orange wine is made with Colombard grapes grown on 15-year-old vines.

Grown on basaltic clay soils in Adissan, in the Hérault Valley, this is one of La Sorga's more mineral-driven cuvées, with low yields (48 hl/ha) shaping a wine that tastes more like a place than a grape.

The grapes undergo a 42-day destemmed maceration, then age for 10 months in a sandstone amphora, with no added sulphites.

Expect a salty, mineral nose, with notes or hedge / shrub and lime showing real delicacy. The palate has tension, with a finish of hedge/ shrub, citrus zest and Granny Smith apple.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.
