Gramuri 2022

Gramuri 2022 is a natural wine crafted by Projekt Wildtyp, in the Burgenland region in Austria. This red wine is made with 100% Blaufränkisch grapes.

Grapes grown on Limestone (known in German as Kalk). Aged in both wood and stainless steel. 17mg/l Sulphur added at bottling

Production details of Gramuri: Gramuri is 100% Blaufränkisch from Boris Kovacic at Projekt Wildtyp in St Margarethen, Burgenland, Austria. The grapes grow on limestone (known locally as Kalk). The wine ferments whole-bunch with 19 days of maceration, then ages in a blend of 35% new untoasted wood barrels for 6 months and 65% stainless steel. 17 mg/l of sulphur added at bottling.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Gramuri by Projekt Wildtyp, but we hear it has notes of blackberry, cool liquorice, white pepper, dried herbs and a fresh juicy lift.
