Kakheti, in eastern Georgia, is home to Zhuka-Sano Wine. One bottle from them here, the 3/47, made with Rkatsiteli and Ikaltos Tsiteli.
Red fruit and white fruit play off each other, with dried apricot, tea and a little dark chocolate. Sharp and transparent, the tannins fine, plenty of juice and traction. As with Georgian wine generally, do not serve it chilled, and give it air before you pour. Once open it holds a good few days.
