Tsolikouri (Leshkeda) 2023

Tsolikouri (Leshkeda) 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Oda Family Marani, in the Western Samegrelo region in Georgia. This 11.5% white wine is made with 100% Tsolikouri grapes.

The aromas evoke a vivid Georgian landscape: yellow and lightly dried fruits, herbal touches, citrus and smoke. Expect hints of mandarin and melon, the wine is medium-bodied, well-balanced, and displays a slightly tart acidity. Tart citrus, and plum mingle on the palate. The wine is full of clarity, texture and balance, with fine acidity and subtle tannins that add structure without heaviness. smooth and rounded on the palate with a long, harmonious finish.

Produced in qvevri with 30 percent of the must and macerated for 7 months, the wine comes from a vineyard at an altitude of 650 meters; the soils are limestone, and the south-facing slope ensures optimal sun exposure.
